Toto’s eternal classic “Africa” is having something of a resurgence lately, thanks to Weezer.

For the rest of us, it might be the song of choice for karaoke aspirants around the world, but it doesn’t match the power of watching it performed live.

Especially when Weird Al Yankovic joins in, stepping onstage with Weezer during their Los Angeles gig on Wednesday night. Yep, accordion and all.

Weezer now perform “Africa” because of an extended online campaign by an Ohio teenager to get the band to cover the song.

The cover has become a hit too, number one in the Billboard Alternative songs list, following a 10-year disappearance from the charts.

Oh yes, and there’s a longer video for your pleasure.
