We love our Mac as much as the next Apple obsessive, but as with every product, there’s always room for improvement. Our biggest gripe? The speakers.

Sure, they’re good enough for a viral Twitter video and or a quick Facetime, but when it comes to watching a full-length movie or to hear who’s talking shit on Fortnite, they fall flat.

Luckily, an app called Boom 3D for Mac can change that — for under 10 bucks.

Exclusive to macOS, this app features a system-wide booster and equalizer that can give your computer the sound quality it deserves. Once you download the app onto your computer, it uses its range of presets as well as its 10-band and advanced equalizers to identify and fix the sound on any of your programs.

If your latest Netflix binge is too loud for your liking (ahem, The Office theme song), you can use Boom 3D’s built-in audio player to control the sound quality and volume. Or, if you want to play technological DJ, you can take advantage of its special effects for audio distortion.

Boom 3D also lets you play around with the surround speakers, tweeters, and the subwoofer, making it possible to get that glorious surround sound effect.

Boom 3D for Mac normally costs $17, but for the next few days, it can be yours for $8.
