Rebel Cops is a nice little game set in the This Is The Police universe. If you liked the previous two games created by Weappy Studio, you’ll probably love the spin-off as well, which, by the way, is developed by the same studio.
Unlike the other two This Is The Police games, Rebel Cops focuses more on combat rather than story, although that doesn’t mean that it’s been devoid by the narrative. It’s just that Rebel Cops is first and foremost a turn-based tactics stealth game, where players control a squad of ex-police officers united by a desire to take down their town’s new criminal overlord.
It’s a pretty generic plot, which seems to be supported by solid turn-based stealth gameplay, with unforgiving combat and vast levels to explore. Most of your time in Rebel Cops, you’ll be performing tactical turn-based missions to undermine the bad guy’s allies.
