Student brings record player to exam to get around phone ban, aces the test

Sometimes you just really need to rock out to your favourite album.

And, even a cell phone ban didn’t deter this student from finding a way to listen to Kanye during his physics midterm exam.

Eric Saueracker, a teacher at Hudson’s Bay High School in Vancouver, WA, tweeted a photo of a student who brought in a portable record player to get around the no-cell-phone rule.

“I said no cell phones, not even for music since they could be used to cheat,” wrote Saueracker.

“This student brought in a record player and is bumping Kanye in his headphones right now,” he continued.

Frankly, this student deserves an A+ for sheer creativity alone.

In an update to his earlier tweet, Saueracker informed us that the student aced the test. Oh, and in case you were wondering which Kanye album he was listening to, it was “College Dropout”. A classic.

This student is really going places.
