Sorry, but those ‘Inbetweeners’ series 4 rumours aren’t true

Turns out James Buckley is as much of a troll as his character in The Inbetweeners.

On Sunday night, the man who plays Jay in the legendary British comedy shared the following photo on Twitter.

Yep, you read that caption right: “series 4 pre production meal”.

Unsurprisingly, people were excited.

It wasn’t long before the jokes started.

The sad truth, however, is that the photo was nothing to do with a fourth series — it was a simple case of the cast getting together for a 10th anniversary meal.

Simon Bird, who played Will in the series, recently ruled out a reunion while being interviewed on Lorraine.

Sad news. But at least we’ll always have those sweet, sweet memories.

H/T Twitter Moments.
