Holy moley.

Rihanna, heavenly queen of red carpets, has descended upon this year’s Met Gala in a glittering Pope-inspired ensemble — and people are freaking out.

Interpreting this year’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and The Catholic Imagination,” the superstar and Met Gala honorary co-chair rocked up to New York’s Metropolitan Museum on Monday donning a bejewelled papal crown and matching mini dress-overcoat combo by Maison Margiela.

We. Are. Not. Worthy.

Amen.

Amen.

Converting.

Converting.

Mere humans on Twitter pledged their allegiance to the Church of Rihanna.

We didn’t think Rihanna could top 2016‘s yellow fluffy cape probably made from Big Bird, or even 2017‘s wallpaper masterpiece, but this year? Consider us converted forever.
