Police helicopter video shows the extent of California wildfire burning near Santa Rosa


Fast moving, deadly wildfires are raging across California’s Sonoma, Napa and Yuba counties, with over 100,000 acres burned as of Tuesday night.

A portion of the sprawling reach of the fire was captured by a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office helicopter on Monday. The video footage shows wildfire burning near Santa Rosa, California.

According to the Los Angeles Times, at least 17 people have been killed.
