‘Overwatch’ League pro suspended over alleged sexual misconduct
Yet another esports pro is in hot water for allegedly being a terrible person.
Jonathan “DreamKazper” Sanchez, an Overwatch League player signed to the Boston Uprising, was suspended indefinitely Sunday following allegations that he pursued a relationship with an underage girl. According to a statement and screenshots acquired by Inven Global, Sanchez was aware that the girl he was messaging and Snapchatting with was a minor.
Boston Uprising first announced that Sanchez was suspended indefinitely Sunday night after the allegations first surfaced online. The 14-year-old girl in question posted a statement online alleging that Sanchez sent her salacious messages and coerced her into sending him explicit photos and videos. Sanchez is 21 years old.
Shortly after the Boston Uprising’s announcement, the Overwatch League announced that Sanchez was suspended indefinitely from the league while the organization investigates the matter.
Earlier today the Overwatch League was made aware of the allegations against Jonathan “DreamKazper” Sanchez. He is suspended indefinitely while the league investigates this matter.

Sanchez is not the first person in the Overwatch League to get punishments from the league for his behavior. One player was fined for using anti-gay slurs on his stream in March, and another was fined and suspended for using homophobic insults against another player. Last week, another player was suspended for using a racist gesture on his personal stream.
