Mom proves she’s mastered Facebook by trolling her friends with an expensive ‘painting’
We were all embarrassed when our moms got on Facebook, but slowly by surely, they seem to be getting better at it than us. Well, at least one is.
On Twitter, user Eleanor Davis posted screenshots of her mother pranking her friends, and captioned the post “My mom is extremely good at Facebook.”
Davis’ mother posted a picture of an oil painting she said she bought that had a famous artist’s signature hidden under the frame.
“It could be worth millions,” she wrote.
Naturally, it wasn’t a painting at all. The image was really just a close-up of a rusty oven door at a local restaurant.
The troll was so convincing that the mom’s photo even tricked the restaurant staff.
This mom might be on to something. Rusty oven door canvases could be the next big movement to take over the art world.
