Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Redstone 5 (Fall 2018) Build 17728

Microsoft has just released a new Windows 10 Redstone 5 preview build for the Fast ring and the Fast ring only, which means that those who opted for Skip Ahead won’t get a new build for now.

Since Windows 10 Redstone 5 is approaching the stabilization phase, there won’t be too many breaking changes in the next builds, and today’s release doesn’t make an exception to this.

And yet, Windows 10 build 17728 does come with some welcome improvements, including the Your Phone app that brings phones in sync with Windows 10 PCs.

With Your Phone, Windows 10 users can access photos on their mobile phones easily, and Microsoft says that in the coming weeks, Android users will see the app’s icon pinned to the desktop to launch it faster.
