Microsoft Is Actually Thinking of Bringing Ads to Windows 10 Mail App

The Windows 10 Mail app could soon receive an update that many people are going to despise: ads right in the main UI, just above the latest emails in the inbox.

As weird and unacceptable that may sound, it looks like Microsoft is currently testing such a change for the Mail app, with some users, most likely insiders, seeing ads in their inboxes.

By the looks of things, this isn’t a feature that users can simply opt out. Instead, it’s an ad bundled into the app that nobody can rid off, obviously not without giving up on the app entirely.

Which, to be completely honest, begins to sound like a pretty good idea for many people, considering how unusual it is for an app developed by Microsoft for an operating system developed by Microsoft to come with built-in ads.
