Jolly Rancher-flavored Pop-Tarts can be part of your complete, unhealthy breakfast
Pop-Tarts are the grab-and-go breakfast of our childhood. But Pop-Tarts have been pushing the definition of “breakfast” for a while now by offering sugar-laden flavors that seem more appropriate as dessert.
And now Pop-Tarts have departed from breakfast entirely with three newly announced flavors. Hitting stores later this month are Jolly Rancher-flavored Pop-Tarts in three varieties: green apple, cherry, and watermelon.
Despite the fact that watermelon-flavored Jolly Rancher is definitively the best Jolly Rancher flavor that exists (don’t @ me), turning any flavor into a Pop-Tart just seems like a very bad idea. It feels a little like they are trying to get us to eat candy for breakfast.
And like most childhood food fantasies, that’s just not good for you.
I like Jolly Ranchers. I like Pop-Tarts. But you can miss me completely with Jolly Rancher Pop-Tarts. Who asked for this?

It’s too late. Jolly Rancher Pop-Tarts are coming into our lives, with a hashtag and everything.
We just hope that when the box says “Limited Time,” it really means limited time. Like, so limited of a time that it’s over and gone before we even truly notice.
