Another ‘Bachelorette’ contestant proves he’s not good enough for Rachel with racist tweets

As always, Rachel Lindsay from The Bachelorette deserves better. The latest vying for her heart to let her down is Lee Grant, who apparently has a history of terrible racist tweets.

Screenshots reportedly taken from his Twitter account call Black Lives Matter a “terrorist organization,” claim the NAACP is racist, and make the confounding claim that, “Hillary is the millennial’s version of O.J.”

Oh, and to diversify his scumbag portfolio, he poses the question. “Guys…when is the last time you saw a pretty feminist? There’s a reason for this.” He is definitely not husband material for the first black Bachelorette or any woman at all.

Garett’s tweets are currently locked, so one of the only things you can see when you visit his profile is that he describes himself as “pleasantly offensive” which translates to plain old offensive.

Many of the tweets, including one describing the “Meninist” movement as his calling, are from late 2016, meaning that it wouldn’t be difficult at all for producers to find them in the casting process.

Garrett isn’t the first suitor on Rachel’s season to face controversy for his raging bigotry. Bryce previously came under fire for a transphobic response to a questionnaire on ABC’s website. “This comment does not reflect the views of ABC, Warner Horizon or bachelorette Rachel Lindsay,” an ABC spokesperson said. “We have removed it from ABC.com.”

ABC declined to comment on the tweets.
