Nintendo’s handheld device game is still going strong, and with a new update to the system and the holiday season fast approaching, deals on the new Nintendo 3DS XL will be few and far between.
For Cyber Monday, Walmart is offering $20 off the handheld console, marking it down to $179. Sure that’s not the biggest Cyber Monday deal we’ve ever seen, but considering that other Nintendo consoles (that shall remain nameless) have trouble even staying in stock, it’s the best you’ll get on one of the season’s most wished for gifts.
The sale is only available on the 3DS XL. The brand new 2DS XL, which is virtually the same device but without the 3D, is still sitting at $149.99 (though it’s 0.99 cheaper in stores which I guess is technically a sale.) It appears that the cool Galaxy Style 3DS XL is the only one that you can buy at the discount and have shipped to you. You can still buy the sleek black version online and pick it up at your local store, assuming it’s in stock.
Given the track record (Walmart sold out of their limited online orders of the SNES classic in literally seconds) you should grab this deal while you still can.
